Weather Situation
A deep low pressure system to the southwest of Tasmania will continue to move rapidly southwards on Monday. A weak high pressure ridge will extend across Victoria on Tuesday, before moving over Tasmania on Wednesday. On Thursday a high pressure system will be located to the south of the Bight while a low pressure trough develops near northeastern Victoria.
Forecast for Monday until midnight
Winds
Westerly 15 to 20 knots and locally reaching 25 knots in the south at first, tending southwesterly and easing to 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon.

1 to 1.5 metres abating to less than 1 metre.
Tuesday 7 February
Winds
Westerly 10 to 15 knots tending west to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots around dawn then tending southerly during the afternoon.
Seas
0.5 to 1 metres increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening.
Wednesday 8 February
Winds
Southerly 5 to 15 knots tending south to southeasterly 10 to 20 knots during the evening.
Seas
0.5 to 1 metre.
Thursday 9 February
Winds
East to southeasterly 5 to 15 knots tending southeast to southwesterly during the afternoon then tending east to southeasterly 10 to 20 knots during the evening.

0.5 to 1 metre.
