Weather Situation

A high pressure system is located over eastern New South Wales while a cold front is approaching the Bight. The front will reach west Bass Strait Friday afternoon and then move across remaining Bass Strait waters overnight Friday and early on Saturday. A new high pressure system will develop over the Bight later Saturday and then ridge across northern Victoria during Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for Thursday until midnight

Northerly 10 to 15 knots.

North to northwesterly 10 to 20 knots becoming northwesterly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon.
