Dive Victoria Group is Victoria’s largest dive charter operator working through two facilities, Dive Victoria in Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula and the Queenscliff Dive Centre. With five vessels in operation DVG has the ability to cater for a large variety of customers over a variety of activities.
Dive Victoria is a day operation facility located in close proximity to Portsea Pier providing everything you need for a great day out diving. A large covered gearing up area, washtubs and hot showers are all features our customers enjoy when using our facilities. Trained staff are able to assist customers with air fills, Nitrox mixes, hire equipment, retail products and knowledge of the local area. Located in central Portsea Dive Victoria can be easily accessed via public transport making it an ideal location for your daily diving activities.
The Queenscliff Dive centre is located on the opposite side of Port Phillip Bay providing access to our facilities from both sides of Melbourne. At the dive centre is a purpose built diver training facility complete with indoor heated pool and spa offering air, Nitrox, argon and Trimix fills and retail sales. Accommodation on site is lodge style and can accommodate over 40 guests, a commercial kitchen, BBQ area, games corner, equipment lockers and courtesy bus make our facility in Queenscliff a great place to get away, stay and play.
Our fleet of 5 charter vessels cater for between 12 and 30 customers for trips both inside Port Phillip Bay and to the surrounding Port Phillip Heads. Our most recent addition to the fleet Sea Dragon is a custom designed vessel built for the comfort and pleasure of our customers with extras including under seat heating, on board hot shower, large deck area. All vessels are in current survey and are fitted with a full compliment of safety equipment including life rafts, EPIRB’s, First aid kits, life jackets and state of the art navigational systems.
Our scope of dive sites is amazing with incredibly diverse sites ranging from snorkelling in marine parks, shallow reef dives to deep wall dives, drift dives to WW1 submarines, crayfish dives to scallop drifts, historical shipwrecks right through to deep wreck dives in the Victoria’s Ships Graveyard all year round.
